Potsdam Revisited
January 01, 2020
In WWII a young man got on board a troop ship carrying his violin. When asked, "What the heck are you going to do with that?" a young Stewart Canin responded, "you never know". 50 years later I was fortunate enough to produce the video records of the now master violinist playing the songs he played for Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin at the Potsdam Conference.

Watch "The Rifleman's Violin", a CitizenFilm production, the documentary that launched the event. Many thanks to Sam Ball of Citizen Film for inviting me on board. Rich Gunderman, DP for the concert records.
