I think the hardest part in Film Production (I mostly work in commercials, corporate films and digital media) is finding the extra time to leave room for the extra 20% in the day for the magic (actors, director, DP, art director, gaffer, etc.) My best shoots, no matter the budget, are planned tight and tick off shots and get ahead to leave space for problems and creativity. Of course, it doesn't always go according to plan, but, my team and I keep it working to keep the set rolling smooth. I bring a background of AICP style management, deep knowledge of budgeting, payroll, insurance and other production business logistics to the job. But beyond checking the boxes, I strive and to add creativity, design, new and fresh ideas with a safe and organized production.
